Why Samsung Tizen
Samsung's professional TVs (Q, QLED, M and N series from Tizen 4.0) run Tizen, an operating system able to run a signage app directly on the screen. NourSign installs as a native app on these models, with no Android box or external player to add.
A Samsung professional display is built to run continuously, unlike a consumer TV. It's the hardware NourSign recommends first for in-store use.
How pairing works
The screen is paired to your NourSign account, with no code shown publicly in-store. Once paired, it appears on your dashboard with a live status: online, offline, last sync.
Updates and maintenance
Screen content updates remotely, with no on-site action needed. App updates follow the same principle: NourSign handles the rollout, so you don't have to touch the physical screen for every new version.
Offline behaviour
On Tizen, NourSign keeps already-synced content locally, to keep displaying through a network drop. Key points:
- The last synced content stays on screen without a connection.
- Syncing resumes automatically once the network returns.
- No manual action is needed on the screen itself.
